The Devil's Advocate Movie (1997)

I saw this movie when I was a kid. I did not understand what the movie was about, but I remember being horrified with some of the scenes and I felt questioned after I finish watching it. I guess that's what happen when your a kid and you watches movies out of your content..hehe
Anyway, I rented this movie on Netflix so I can watch for the second time to make some sense out of it and enlighten myself about the message.

Here is the description from netflix:
When charismatic lawyer John Milton (Al Pacino) recruits the successful young attorney Kevin Lomax (Keanu Reeves) to his high-powered Manhattan firm, both Kevin and his wife (Charlize Theron) find life on Park Avenue seductive. That is, until strange things begin to happen. By the time the pair begins questioning John's plans and who -- or what -- Kevin actually works for, it might be too late in director Taylor Hackford's creepy thriller.

I have to say this movie is a smart scary film in a way they portray the devils walking with us in everyday life pretending to be just another human being with the nature of deceiving people in any way possible. When I first saw the film as a kid, I already felt creeped out, even now that I have more understanding of the movie. While watching this, a lot of explicit visual message of deceptions, and insidious had come to my senses just from assumptions(probably from other horror movies I saw). I think I'm more careful and sharper of whom I give my trust since anything can happen.

Overall, The movie is really good. One of the best mind bending Psychological Supernatural thriller. Actors are definitely great especially AL Pacino with the Speech close to the end. Story lines and Plot are Genius. Special effects are not that great, but definitely left some negative imaginations in my mind.
